Data Subject Rights

Important: MK Board Games stores game data locally on your device and does not maintain user accounts. Google may separately process advertising information through AdMob; advertising choices and Google requests must be handled through Google’s controls.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding personal data handled by MKDEV:

Right to Access — request a copy of any personal data held about you
Right to Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
Right to Erasure — request deletion of your data
Right to Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data
Right to Data Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
Right to Object — object to processing of your personal data

Exercising Your Rights On-Device

Because game data is stored locally on your device, you can exercise most rights directly:

Access & Review: All data is visible inside the App (stats, settings)
Reset Stats: Settings → Reset Stats (clears all game statistics immediately)
Full Data Deletion: Device Settings → Apps → MK Board Games → Storage → Clear Data
Complete Removal: Uninstall the App — all locally stored data is permanently deleted

Advertising Information

Google AdMob may process advertising identifiers, device information, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostics. Use the advertising choices entry point inside the App and Google’s privacy controls for information handled by Google. MKDEV cannot access or delete data held by Google.

We aim to respond to requests within 30 days. Since MKDEV does not maintain user accounts or server-side game records, most requests will be fulfilled with instructions for on-device deletion. Requests about Google advertising data should be directed to Google.

These rights are informed by the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.
